This policy explains what information Rocket Web Development (“we,” “us”), 1603 12th Ave Rd, Suite C, Nampa, ID 83686, collects through rocketwebdevelopment.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. Our WordPress care plans are sold at rocketweb.support, which has its own privacy policy.

Information you give us

  • Contact and consultation forms: your name, email address, phone number, business name and whatever you tell us about your project.
  • Client questionnaire: details about your business, website and goals that you choose to share so we can prepare a quote.
  • Project work: when you hire us, the content, logins and account access you share so we can build or update your site.

Information collected automatically

  • Analytics: we use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to understand how visitors use the site (pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser, and how you arrived). Google sets cookies to do this.
  • Site statistics: our WordPress tools record basic visit statistics.
  • Spam protection: our forms use Google reCAPTCHA and Akismet to block spam. These services may process your IP address and form details for that purpose.
  • Embedded content: some pages include embedded videos (for example, from YouTube). The provider may collect information when you view or play them.

How we use information

  • To reply to you, prepare quotes and deliver the work you hire us for.
  • To send project and billing communication.
  • To keep the site secure and free of spam.
  • To understand and improve the site.

We don’t sell your personal information, and we don’t share it with third parties for their own advertising.

Who we share it with

We share information only with the services that help us run the site and do our work, such as our web host, Google (analytics, reCAPTCHA, fonts and video), our form and spam-protection tools, and email. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

The site uses cookies to remember your choices and measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, though some embedded content may not.

How long we keep it

We keep form messages and project records as long as we need them to work with you and for accounting, tax or legal reasons. You can ask us to delete messages you’ve sent if you didn’t become a client.

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing doug@rocketwebdevelopment.com. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it.

Children

This site is meant for businesses and isn’t directed to children under 13. We don’t knowingly collect their information.

We may update this policy. We’ll post the new version here with its date.
